From July 2024 through April 2025, Australia experienced a significant shortage of IV bags containing sodium chloride 0.9%.
Aborns pharmaceuticals supplied 6 products under section 19a during this period, for saline IV bags both PVC and non-PVC grades from France. all volumes of 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL and 1000 mL is available to supply.
